Civil Air Patrol


Lt Col Harvey Gonzalez began his Civil Air Patrol career in 1986 as a cadet. He completed all the cadet phases and was promoted to Cadet Lt. Colonel.  He graduated from Cadet Officer School at Maxwell Air Force Base in Alabama in 1993.  In 1994 from cadet he moved on to become a Senior Member where he has currently achieved Level 5 in the Professional Development Program.

Lt Col Gonzalez graduated with an Associate's Degree from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in 1994.  He worked as a police officer in Puerto Rico for fifteen years and moved up to a sergeant position. In 2008, he moved to the Federal Government where he was employed by the Federal Bureau of Prisons.  While there, he was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant. He remained there until 2015 when he was offered a new position with Homeland Security Investigations. He currently holds the position of Technical Enforcement Officer based in New York City.

Lt Col Gonzalez has been recognized at all levels of his career, from within Civil Air Patrol to federal law enforcement. However, he remains humble and steadfast in his duty to serve.
